Abstract

O presente relatório reflete a experiência desenvolvida no âmbito do estágio curricular, etapa essencial para a conclusão do mestrado em Gestão no ISLA – Gaia. O estágio teve lugar entre 22 de julho de 2024 e 22 de fevereiro de 2025, no grupo The Fladgate Partnership, com início no WOW – World Of WIne, integrada no setor de eventos e hospitalidade, e posterior continuidade no departamento financeiro da sede do grupo. Ao longo deste período, tive a oportunidade de aplicar na prática diversos conhecimentos adquiridos ao longo do curso, em áreas como a gestão de eventos análise concorrência, planeamento estratégico virgula tratamento de reservas, comunicação com clientes e apoio financeiro. As tarefas atribuídas foram ajustadas as necessidades reais da organização, permitindo um desenvolvimento de competências técnicas e interpessoais no contexto empresarial dinâmico e exigente. Este relatório descreve as principais atividades realizadas nas tuas áreas de atuação eventos e finanças, bem como os sistemas e ferramentas utilizadas, nomeadamente um Protel, SAP, Excel, TBFiles, Pingwin, MEO Wallet e Thefork. A experiência permitiu aprofundar o conhecimento sobre a realidade operacional de uma organização de grande escala no setor do enoturismo e da hospitalidade, reforçando a importância da articulação entre departamentos na concretização de resultados de excelência.

This report reflects the experience developed as part of the curricular internship, an essential stage for completing the Master's degree in Management at ISLA - Gaia. The internship took place between July 22, 2024 and February 22, 2025, at The Fladgate Partnership group, starting at WOW - World Of Wine, integrated into the events and hospitality sector, and then continuing in the finance department at the group's headquarters. Throughout this period, I had the opportunity to put into practice various skills acquired during the course, in areas such as event management, competition analysis, strategic planning, booking handling, client communication and financial support. The tasks assigned were adjusted to the real needs of the organization, allowing me to develop technical and interpersonal skills in a dynamic and demanding business context. This report describes the main activities carried out in the events and finance areas, as well as the systems and tools used, namely Protel, SAP, Excel, TBFiles, Pingwin, MEO Wallet and Thefork. The experience allowed me to deepen my knowledge of the operational reality of a large-scale organization in the wine tourism and hospitality sector, reinforcing the importance of coordination between departments in achieving excellent results.
