Passado, presente e futuro : revitalização e requalificação de um espaço rural para efeitos de turismo

Abstract

A necessidade de preservar a arquitetura ancestral e cada vez maior, e a funcao da arquitetura cuidar deste legado, e e aqui que a reabilitacao se faz mostrar fundamental, na medida em que confronta tempos diferentes na busca de um equilibrio entre o antigo e o novo. Os elementos novos que irao ser introduzidos nas casas e no monte das Casas Altas, marcarao a sua intervencao por ter uma base minimalista, tanto na linguagem da solucao desenvolvida como no uso de um pequeno numero de diferentes materiais com caracteristicas diferentes da construcao tradicional de forma a que nao se crie um artificio historico, ou seja, nao se criar falsidade, o que e antigo e original teve o seu tempo e e nosso dever preservar a sua historia dentro das possibilidades tecnicas que hoje existem. Assim sendo o novo torna-se num elemento de rutura de linguagem mostrando assim os varios periodos de intervencao que foram realizadas no monte. Nos tempos que correm, neste tipo intervencoes, e possivel utilizar tanto as tecnicas construtivas tradicionais tal como as mais recentes e avancada. Temos o Passado com a sua historia associada que ira ser preservada, o presente, a atualidade, onde iremos fazer intervencoes para salvaguardar o passado e projetar para o futuro.

The need to preserve the ancestral architecture is increasing, it is the duty of architecture to take care of this legacy, and it is at this point that rehabilitation becomes fundamental, as it confronts different times in the search for a balance between the old and the new . The new elements that will be introduced in the houses and on the hill of Casas Altas, will mark its intervention by having a minimalist base, both in the language of the developed solution and in the use of a small number of different materials with different characteristics of the traditional construction in a way that this doesn’t create historical artifice, that is, not to create falsehood, what is ancient and original had its time and it is our duty to preserve its history within the technical possibilities that exist today. Thus the new becomes an element of rupture, showing the various periods of intervention that were carried out on the mountain. In these times, in these types of interventions, it is possible to use both the traditional and the more recent advanced techniques. We have the past with its associated history that will be preserved, the present, where we will make interventions to safeguard the past and project for the future.
